This blog is maintained by all members of the PMMS 7/8 science team. It serves as a place for students and parents to access resources. These include, but are not limited to: videos, simulations, notes, project guidelines, vocabulary review, study guides, and major announcements. Updates are made on a weekly basis to include the most current information for the current unit.
In order to keep in line with our school wide expectations, students should be:
-Respectful -Responsible -Safe These expectations are posted in each classroom and referred to often. Given the hands-on nature of science, many labs and group assignments are performed weekly. Students should keep these expectations in mind when working with their peers and teachers. When planning daily activities and unit assessments, great consideration is made to ensure students are prepared for high school level courses. The way assessments are delivered follows in line with many of the high schools in the area. Typically, students should be prepared to complete many of the following for each unit:
